How CWGI Works
Canadian Women Golfers Inc. provides you, the member, many choices to play 9 holes or 18 holes, at different courses, on most days of the week. For your annual membership fee you will enjoy the following:
- Choices of 9-hole games, mornings and afternoons at select area courses in the west end and east end of Ottawa. (See current 9-Hole League Play Calendar.)
- Choices of 18-hole games, 5 days a week across the Ottawa Gatineau Region. (See current 18-Hole League Play Calendar).
- Easy access to golf lessons and clinics across the area designed for CWGI members.
- As a CWGI Member, there is no limit to how many games you can play. All you have to do is show up and pay your green fees.

1. Familiarize yourself with the new website
Familiarize yourself with the new website, especially the FAQs section. This is for new members, and is also provided as a good review
2. Print out the Calendars of Play
9-Hole Calendar, or
18-Hole Calendar
• The Calendars of Play have been created to make it easy for you to make your tee sheet bookings.
• Your Calendar of Play is essential to guide you when booking your tee times.
• Every course is identified as either an East or West course. The maps that go along with the Calendar (also on the Calendar Page) show you the locations of the various courses throughout the region.
3. View Your Tee Sheet Dates
Review the Calendar of Play that applies to you (9-Hole or 18-Hole) and make a note for yourself when the events open for registration.
4. New golfers: Try a Clinic
Sign up for the optional golf clinics so you will have a good foundation for play this season.
5. Practice logging into your MEMBER LOGIN
Practice logging into your MEMBER LOGIN account from the CWGI.ca home page to get familiar with the system. This is designed to be easy to use once you go through it.
6. Review all Training Tools
Review all Training Tools (posted under Learn) on the CWGI website to get familiar with booking tee times and other registration functions.
7. Stay Informed
Get the complimentary eBlasts and eNews letters by email to keep you informed. Not getting them? Add info@cwgi.ca to your address book or contact us directly at that same address so we can add you to the mailing list. To be sure, once you get your first eNews by email, reply “OK” to it, so your email recognizes it going forward – or say “HI!” and tell us what you like about CWGI.
