Regardless of whether you are new to golf – or a long-time golfer who is just new to CWGI – we offer programs that will help you build confidence and grow and advance your golf skills.

Learning at All Levels

CWGI is a socially minded league. However, golf is more fun and rewarding if you have the opportunity for continuous improvement. Not only does improvement allow you to play more advanced and challenging courses, but it also promotes more social interaction with other members since you can play anywhere, anytime, at different 9-hole and 18-hole events.

New Member Assistance

We believe strongly in getting new members off to a great start. That’s why CWGI has a dedicated Mentor Coordinator to ensure no one slips through the cracks.

As a new member, upon enrollment in CWGI, you will be contacted by our Mentor Coordinator. She will chat with you to learn a bit more about you, the golfer, i.e. your playing level and interests. All of this will help us suggest programs and activities that may be a great fit for you. This discussion also provides an opportunity to ask additional questions to help you maximize your experience within CWGI.

Mentorship Promotes Friendships

We have several scenarios where our Mentor Coordinator can offer support. For instance, you may be a beginner golfer who wishes to learn to play – or you may also be someone who has some golfing experience but would like to play a refresher round with the Mentor Coordinator or one of our league coordinators. Or you could be a new member who just wants to get out and start playing.

In all cases, it’s totally up to you as to how you want to proceed. We are here to help guide you through the new member process.

New Member Orientation

In April, before our regular season starts, we provide all new members with a complimentary invitation to our New Member Orientation. This event is held specifically for New Members. It’s a great opportunity to meet other new members, your CWGI team, and to learn more about our upcoming programs and events.

Feedback has been fantastic with many new members telling us that they’ve made some wonderful golf friendships because of this event. That’s amazing considering the CWGI golf season doesn’t start until May 1st!

Our primary goal is to make you feel comfortable and fall in love with this great sport.
