Canadian Women Golfers Inc. offers a variety of special events during the year. These include social activities, golf clinics, indoor golf (winter), tournaments and getaways. For 2024 the following events are now confirmed:

CWGI MEET & GREET – Thursday April 25, 5:30-8:30pm. The Meadows Golf and Country Club, Glouster, ON. Open to all CWGI members (new, returning and potential). Pre-registration is required at the link below with a fee of $20 (to help cover a portion of the event costs). Sign up by April 11th. SMUGGLER’S GLEN GOLF GETAWAY, June 18-20, 2 nights, 2 days golf. – Gananoque, ON. A popular annual trip within a 2-hour drive of Ottawa. Riverfront accommodations (double rooms) at the Glen House Resort, Tues 18 June/19 June with golf booked at the beautiful Smugglers’s Glen Golf Course on 19/20 June. 40 spots will be available. ROYAL LAURENTIEN GOLF GETAWAY – July 15-19, Mont Blanc, Qc. Flexible 2–4-day options at the Royal Laurentien Resort and Golf. This is a year-round family run resort with excellent hospitality and a favourite trip for CWGI members. The 18-hole course is beautiful and always in great shape and not intimidating to play. Après golf is excellent, great chalet accommodations with onsite resort activities. LE DIABLE GOLF COURSE, July 16, Mont Tremblant, QC – 18 holes of golf. As part of the Royal Laurentien Getaway, we have booked additional tee times for any members who may be interested in travelling to Mont Tremblant for the day to join CWGI golf on Tuesday, July 16. We have 20 spots available for those who want to drive up and join for the day to play. Cost is $89 plus tax and includes 18 holes of golf and cart plus range balls. Tee Times run from 10am-1130 with later tee times for those travelling from Ottawa that day. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a fabulous Tremblant golf experience at a great rate and with your CWGI friends. Registration coming soon.

MALONE GOLF CLUB GETAWAY – Malone, NY, USA. August 19-21 inclusive. 2 nights, 2 days unlimited golf, with Holiday Inn Express. This is the first time we are offering this trip for the ladies. Malone, NY is a short 2-hour drive with 36 Championship golf holes divided into two great golf courses – the East and West. Robert Trent Jones original design with breathtaking views of the Adirondacks. All costs will be in reflected in USD and don’t forget to make sure your passport is up to date. CWGI FALL TOURNAMENT – Saturday September 14, Meadows Golf and Country Club. Ottawa, ON.
Ottawa, ON. 9 & 18-Hole game options followed by dinner and prizes. This is a fun social day. Last year we had 175 ladies attend the dual game format. It was also a wonderful chance to raise money for charity.

OTTAWA VALLEY GIRL GETAWAY September 26-28 inclusive. Flexible 1–3-day (and overnight) format.
A fun, relaxed valley golf experience at three courses: Dragonfly, White Tail and Oaks of Cobden. We are early in the planning stages but be sure to bring your best plaid and enjoy fall golf and the beautiful colours in our Ottawa valley

Due to the popularity of our getaways a waitlist may also be setup. Reservations will be done on a first come, first served basis and all trips are 18-hole getaway events.Payment will be required at the time of registration to secure your booking.
