Golf Getaways

Whether you’ve been a member of CWGI for years or are a new member who will be starting to tee off with some of our welcoming ladies, we have some amazing Golf Getaways as extra, optional trips for you this year.

How & When to Sign Up

1) You must be a member of CWGI in 2025 to register for any CWGI golf getaway or event. (Not signed up for CWGI 2025 yet? Register for the 2025 season at this link. Darlene Poulin (darlene@cwgi.ca ) will then activate your membership.)

2) When Registration for each golf getaway opens, you should register as soon as possible. (Sign up is first come, first served.) A $200 deposit will be processed online at that time to secure your spot. Smuggler’s will be payment in full on Registration due to later booking on this short trip.

3) Mark these dates on your calendar! You will get an eblast from us on the dates given below with a link to sign up for each of these trips. If the dates of open registration below have passed, check at the bottom of the page here under GETAWAY DETAILS to see if the link is open for sign up.

• SAT. MARCH 1st at 7:00 pm: Registration is open for the Peterborough/Kawartha Getaway (trip is July 15-17): 40 spots available. Cost is $596 dbl occupancy, taxes included.

• TUES., MARCH 25th at 7:00 pm: Registration Opens for the Laurentians Getaway (trip is Aug. 18 -21): 40 spots available. Cost is $690 pp dbl occupancy, taxes included.

• SUN., APRIL 20th at 7:00 pm: Registration Opens for the Tremblant Getaway (updated trip date is Sept. 12-14): 28 spots available. Cost is $622 pp quad occupancy, taxes included.

• WED., APRIL 30th at 7 pm: Registration Opens for the Smuggler’s Glen Getaway (trip is June 18-19): Cost is $375 + tax (dbl/trpl occupancy) and $485 + tax (sngl occupancy).

Getaway Details & Registration Links

WED., JUNE 18 – THURS., JUNE 19: SMUGGLER’S GLEN GETAWAY

This is 1 night/2 rounds of 18-hole golf. You will golf on Wed. and enjoy a BBQ dinner and riverfront accommodations. Thurs. states with a satisfying breakfast and even more satisfying golf before returning home.
Location: Smuggler’s Glen Golf Course, 418 Thousand Islands Pkwy, Lansdowne
Time: Overnight
Cost: $375+tax (dbl/trpl occupancy); $485+tax (sngl occupancy). Payment in full upon Registration due to later booking on this short trip.

TUES., JULY 15 – THURS., JULY 17: PETERBOROUGH/KAWARTHA REGION GOLF GETAWAY

You will enjoy 2 nights/3 rounds of golf. Relax at accommodations at the Hampton Inn by Hilton and golf each day at nearby premium courses: Black Diamond, Baxter Creek, and Quarry Golf Club.
Location: Peterborough and region. Accommodations at the new Hampton Inn beside the Casino
Time: 3 Days

Cost: $596 pp (dbl occupancy) taxes included

MON., AUG. 18 – THURS., AUG. 21: LAURENTIANS GETAWAY

3 nights/3 rounds of 18-hole golf.
First 2 rounds at Lachute Golf Club. Enjoy a day playing each of the two championship golf courses, (Stanley Thompson & Howard Watson. Then 1 round at Club Griffon des Sources. All within 90 minutes from Ottawa.
Location: Laurentians, Microtel by Wyndham Lachute
Time: 4 Days
Cost: $690 pp dbl occupancy, taxes included

FRI., SEPT. 12 – SUN. SEPT. 14: TREMBLANT GETAWAY

2 nights/2 rounds of 18-hole golf.
Golf Friday and Saturday – La Bête (ClubLink) and Le Géant.
Location: Stay quad occupancy in style with fully equipped kitchens. Accommodations Friday and Saturday nights at Sommets des Neiges Condos in the heart of Tremblant Village.
Time: Two-and-a Half Days
Cost: $622 pp, all Quad occupancy, taxes included
